Donate today to support Dactyl Foundation\u2019s Award for Literary Fiction.<\/p>\n

Dactyl Foundation has lately concentrated on growing the literary fiction community, which has dwindled over the past twenty years as publishing houses began to focus on big sellers ignoring the niche market of fine literature. In 2010, we launched Dactyl Review<\/em>, a community of literary fiction writers who review literary fiction and nominate works for Dactyl Foundation\u2019s $1000 annual prize.\u00a0 The contest is open to any living literary fiction writer, regardless of date of publication or type of publication. We are especially interested in books that came out some time ago and have not yet received the recognition they deserve.<\/p>\n

Award recipients for past years are Sea of Hooks <\/em>by Lindsay Hill, Hush Now, Don\u2019t Explain<\/em> <\/em>by Dennis Must, The Double Life of Alfred Buber<\/em> by David Schmahmann, Cocoa Almond Darling<\/em> by Jeffra Hays, and Shadowplay<\/em> by Norman Lock. Read reviews of nominated works and vote for your favorite on dactylreview.org<\/a> The final decision and announcement for the 2019 winner will be made in January.<\/p>\n
