The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) is proud to announce a new scholarship for graduate students studying towards filmmaking or filmmaking related degrees at any New York university or appropriate institute. The BAFTA Ben Jorgensen scholarship is dedicated to Ben Alexander Jorgensen who was born in London and raised in New York from the age of seven. Ben’s work as a filmmaker included documentaries, music videos, TV programs and PSAs. Ben was also a well-known actor in films and soaps. Modest about his own accomplishments Ben was full of praise and admiration for his friends and colleagues. The BAFTA Ben Jorgensen Scholarship will keep his kindness and generosity alive.
